Shipping policy
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you place your order. We will deliver your order to the main entrance of the delivery address or to a floor in an apartment block but only if:
- a) The driver has your permission, and
- b) Our driver believes that it is safe and practical to do as you request
We always reserve the right to deliver only to the main entrance of the delivery address. For deliveries to customers at a business address, we can deliver to the ground floor communal entrance of your business, but unfortunately, we are not able to come to your desk. If your business has a shared ground floor reception, this is where we will deliver to you,
Please note that we deliver only to specified regions within the United Kingdom.
We offer addresses:
· Within M25 for orders over £25: Free delivery
· Within M25 for orders below £25: £5 shipping cost
· Outside M25 for orders over £80: Free delivery
· Outside M25 for orders below £80: £12 shipping cost
Delivery by Gourmet de Paris:
Our delivery time is 8 am to 5 pm, however, delivery windows are an indication and not a guarantee of delivery within specific hours. We reserve the right to deliver at any time within your allocated delivery day.
Delivery by third-party couriers:
The courier will make every effort to deliver your parcel to the specified address. In the event of a delivery attempt when you are not available to receive the package, the parcel may be left with a neighbour or at a collection point. On this occasion, Gourmet de Paris will no longer be held responsible for any loss/damaged item. Please note that it will be your responsibility to arrange for parcel pickup. Please note that although we pay for fast delivery and we do our best to guarantee our shipping time promise, please consider we use third-party delivery companies, over which we have no control, therefore delivery windows can occasionally vary.
Standard delivery generally takes 2 to 5 days from your order date. Cut-off time is 11:00am every day. Orders received by 11:00 am on Thursday will be dispatched next day delivery where possible, please expect delivery within 48 hours. Orders received after the mentioned deadline will be delivered between Monday and Tuesday of the following week to guarantee the best freshness and quality possible.
For Pre-order items, they will be delivered within 7 to 14 days in general and it will be shipped separately from your order if your order is combined with other ready-to-ship items.
For Frozen items, they will be delivered to the address within London M25 area at the moment.
Once your order is fulfilled, a tracking number will be added if the order is delivered by a third-party courier or our delivery team will fufil the delivery without any tracking number. Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your goods on the agreed day, we reserve the right to change your delivery date and will notify you.
All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult 18 years or over. If we have to return for another delivery attempt, additional charge may apply.
Our drivers / third-party couriers may contact you via the contact number you provided on the order and contact you for delivery attempts.
